Cooper was gunned down while working security at the
Federal Courthouse. He was a retired Las Vegas police officer.




ANGIE WEST 24 BROOKLYN NY JANUARY 4 2010
While working at a building under construction the officer fell
through an opening in the floor of the building.




SCOTT MICHAEL ROBERSON 39  ATLANTA GA. JANUARY 4 2010
Officer was working as a civilian security officer for the CIA in Afghanistan
when he was killed during an attack on a building.

Both officers were  working as a civilian security officers for the CIA in Afghanistan
when they were killed during an attack on a building.



WILLIAM HESSON 39  CLEVELAND OH  
Ohio Department of Youth Services security officer William Hesson, 39, died at the Cuyahoga
Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility after 17-year-old inmate Hubert Morgan kneed him in the
chest or and heart.




MICHAEL MONTGOMERY 35 MONTGOMERY AL JANUARY 10 2010
While on duty as a security chief at a nightclub, officer was involved in a gun battle
and was shot dead.




MICHAEL E OWENS 35  ST. LOUIS MO  JANUARY 10 2010
Killed in a head on collision as he drove to his assignment.




GREG WAINIO 39 WATERFORD TOWNSHIP MI JANUARY 14 2010
While working as an LP Agent for K-Mart he was run over by a fleeing shoplifter




FRANK RODRIGUES 46 HONOLULU HI JANUARY 30 2010
While detaining a shoplifter officer had a heart attack and succumbed.




FRANK GLOVER 61 MONCKS CORNER SC JANUARY 29 2010
While employed as a private police officer with the SC Public Service Commission
Agent Glover suffered a heart attack after making an arrest.



LEONARD WALL 58 PINE BLUFF AR. JANUARY 31 2010
While employed as a juvenile detention officer,  Wall was beaten to death
by three teens trying to escape.


FEBRUARY

DELORES TOY 82 VERONA MS FEBRUARY 1 2010
Died in a traffic accident at Air Cap Mfg. where was employed in security.




ANGELITO ERASQUIN 63  HAYWARD CA. FEBRUARY 2 2010
Officer was murdered at the Manheim Auto Auctions complex during a robbery.
Erasquin was a ten year veteran of the security force.



FROILAN GODINES 41 PASCO WA. FEBRUARY 8 2010
Was ambushed and stabbed to death by two men at a nightclub



SAMIR MOURAD 42, CLIFTON NJ FEBRUARY 13 2010
Died from a heart attack while struggling with a shoplifter



JAMES BALL 38 BALTIMORE MD FEBRUARY 20 2010
While talking to a person at the Bank of America, several men stopped
and got into a confrontation and shot officer Ball.




MARQUES RAINEY 28 MEMPHIS TN FEBRUARY 27 2010
While on duty at Southland Mall he was shot and killed.
