| About Us IPSTA is the world’s largest association dedicated to the learning and development of security professionals. IPSTA’s members come from more than 28 countries and connect locally across the US with it's international partners working toward the same goals and focus of training and equipping the private security officer. Members work in many types of organizations of all sizes, in government, as independent security trainers, directors and instructors of security schools and academies, and suppliers. Established in 2011, with a mission of uniting instructors, educators, state governmental regulators and the private security industry, our goals have already widened to include the profession’s focus to link learning and performance to individual and organizational results, and to increase professionalism through education. Provides resources for learning and performance professionals, educators, and students—research, analysis, benchmarking, online information, books, and other publications relating to the security industry. Brings professionals together in conferences, workshops, and online training sessions.
