JANUARY
LOS ANGELES CA.   BRANDON WHITE, 21
WAS STABBED TO DEATH WHILE BREAKING UP A FIGHT AT THE TIME OUT TAVERN WHERE HE WAS
WORKING NEW YEARS EVE SECURITY. HE WAS IN THE FINAL PHASE OF BECOMING A DEPUTY SHERIFF. A
SUSPECT HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH MURDER.

MICHIGAN KEMBRY JONES, 30
WAS KILLED BY A ROADSIDE BOMB WHILE WORKING FOR A SECURITY CONTRACTOR IN IRAQ.

SAN FRANCISCO CA. ALBERTO "CHITO" CASILLAS
Casillas, who had been at a nightclub with his girlfriend was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting after he left
the club. Police say that a vehicle pulled along side of Casillas and opened fire on him killing him immediately.

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. UN-NAMED OFFICER
While working on patrol at a housing complex on the north side of the city, a security officer was shot and killed.
Police have not released the officers name and have no suspects at this time.

VIRGINIA BEACH VA. UNKNOWN OFFICER
A PRIVATE OFFICER WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD AFTER HE ESCORTED A DISORDERLY SUSPECT OUT OF AN
ADULT CLUB FOR HARASSING PATRONS. ANOTHER PERSON WAS SHOT AND KILLED AND AN OFF DUTY
DEPUTY SHERIFF WHO STOPPED TO HELP WAS ALSO SHOT BUT SURVIVED. TWO SUSPECTS WERE
ARRESTED NEAR-BY AFTER K-9 OFFICERS TRACKED THEM.

TAMPA FLA CARL SHOAL, 41
A S/O WAS STABBED TO DEATH DURING A CONFRONTATION AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. NO OTHER
DETAILS WERE AVAILABLE.

HOUSTON TX. LUIS ALFONSO MANCILLAS, 23
S/O was working as an armed officer for Lake City Patrol at the Stafford Sports Club when he was shot dead on
Sat. Jan 20th. Police are unsure if he was involved in a fight with a patron earlier and the investigation is
underway.

DENTON TX. 28 YR OLD OFFICER
Police are investigating a shooting death of a security officer working at an apartment complex. Few details have
been released.

IRAQ 5 OFFICERS DEAD
Four American private officers working special security protection in the Bagdad area of Iraq were shot in the
head after their helicopter was shot down on Jan 24th. Blackwater Security USA now says it was their employees
and helicopter. blackwater provides private protection for Embassy and other US government buildings and staff.

OAKLAND CA DEMETRIO BALTAZAR 59
S/O was on patrol duty when he was shot in the head by a stray bullet from a gun battle a block away.
Amazingly, Baltazar, an officer with Guardsmark, finished his shift and died after he went home. Police are
looking for the suspects.

FEBRUARY 2007

COLUMBIA S.C. JOHN D. ADAMS, 29
During a confrontation with a man at a local club, a security officer and the ex girlfriend of the man was shot
dead in front of patrons. Police say that the man was escorted out of the club after a disturbance but returned
moments later with a gun and opened fire, killing Adams and the woman and injuring at least one other person.

LA MIRANDA CALF. REYES GARCIA, 28
While working security at a nightclub, officer Garcia asked several men who were drinking alcohol in the clubs
parking lot to leave the property. Local police say that the six men were gang members and several immediately
pulled handguns and opened fire on Garcia killing him. No suspects have yet been arrested but police have
several leads including a description of the get-away truck.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 14TH, 2007

We are very sad to report that over the past 48 hrs, four private security officers including one off-duty
Chicago police officer returning home from a security job have been killed in the line of duty.
Those officers are;

CHICAGO, ILL. JOSE VAZQUEZ, 34
Police say that Vazquez was shot and killed as he returned home from working a private security job, possibly a
victim of robbery. When Chicago P.D. arrived, the fallen officers wife was by his side and his wallet and watch
was missing and his weapon still holstered on his side.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. JEFF SCOTT, 39
Private officer Scott was stabbed and beat by several suspects that he had confronted for loitering. Police are
working several leads in this case.

BALTIMORE, MD.   HAROLD ROBINSON, 39
Confronted two suspects urinating on the floor at a nightclub and asked them to leave the premises. The
suspects exited but returned minutes later and opened fire striking several patrons and killing Robinson. A
second security officer chased the suspects and returned fire striking both who are not in custody.

SECURITY OFFICER, IRAQ
A 41 year old private security officer was killed on Sunday while working private protection in Iraq. The officers
name and home state have not been released yet.

MARCH 2007

COMPTON CA. BRYAN HAYNES 37
While on patrol of an apartment complex, S/O confronted a suspicious subject near an apartment. During
questioning, the suspect pulled a handgun and shot and killed the private officer. Police are searching for the
suspect.

NEW ORLEANS, LA. MITCHELL PIERCE, 54
The retired deputy sheriff from Arkadelphia Arkansas was working private security at a FEMA trailer site when he
was shot in the face and later died of his injuries. Two other officers came to his assistance but the suspect fled.

NEW YORK CITY, NY JAMES PLOCIA, 37
After working his shift, Transit Security Officer Plocia was waiting for a bus in Brooklyn when he was shot and
killed. Police say that it may have been a robbery or robbery attempt and an IPod may have been stolen. Police
are asking for the community to help them solve this senseless murder.

ALBANY, GA. JACK KEMP, 43
While on patrol at the Regency Club apartments, Kemp called 911 for police back up when he spotted a
suspicious subject loitering around the apartments. Before police arrived the private officer was shot and killed.
Kemp was a deputy coroner and emergency medical technician.

APRIL 2007

KENT NY JOHN DORSETT, 42
While working for the Carmel School District, Dorsett was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which he was
killed instantly. Dorsett had retired from the NYPD after having heart problems.

During the week -end of April 28th 2007 three security officers were killed in the line of duty and a fouth
is clinging on after he was brutally attacked while doing his job..............

SACRAMENTO CA. ROBERT ROOT, 68
Security officer Root is in critical condition at Sutter General Hospital after he was brutally assaulted after he
asked several teenagers to leave a light rail train station because they were causing a disturbance. Root
sufferred a broken jaw, broken nose and cheekbone. Root is employed by Wachenhut Security Corp.

LAS VEGAS NV. NIGHTCLUB OFFICER
A private security officer working at an area club called the 702 was killed late Saturday night (April 28th). Police
have not yet released the S/O's name pending notification of next of kin.

AUROA CO. NIGHTCLUB SECURITY OFFICER
A club security officer was found at the La Cabana bar after police responding to a fight outside found him in the
rear of the building with multiple stab wounds. Witnesses say he escorted several disorderly persons from the
club minutes before. Police identified the S/O on Monday as 19yr old Jore Mora Jr.

NEW YORK, NY JUAN DECARLOS VARGAS
NYPD is investigating the death of the S/O who was found in uniform near a car lot. Police are unsure if he was
actually working security at that location.

MAY 2007

NORFOLK, VA. MICHAEL VENTURA
Police are investigating the attempted robbery and murder of off-duty security officer Ventura as he walked to
his car at the AJ Gator's sports Bar. Police say they are looking at footage from security cameras and may soon
make an arrest. Ventura leaves behind a wife and two children, 4&7 years old.

QUEENS, NY. AWALI KHOUROUPA, 52
A private officer who jumped onto a fleeing truck as the two shoplifters attempted to get away, has died of his
injuries. Officer Khouroupa sustained multiple injuries and had been in critical condition for the past few days.
Locals are calling him a hero for his actions to stop the thieves and city police have arrested a suspect in the
case.

JUNE 2007

SELMA, AL. STEVEN JAMES AGUERO, 35
Shot and killed while patrolling an apartment complex.

SULPHER SPRINGS TX-- ISHMAEL DELACRUZ, 33 / ALLEN HAYES, 60
June 6th, 2007
Two Loomis security guards died Tuesday afternoon when their Loomis truck collided head-on with a semi truck
on Highway 19 north of Sulphur Springs.

PALM SPRINGS CA. WALLACE BROWN, 66
June 15th, 2007
We are very sad to report that 66 year old security officer Wallace Brown passed away today at the Desert
Regional Medical Center where he was admitted two days ago after being beat almost to death while on duty at
a construction site. The ex-marine was robbed, kicked, hit with rocks, stomped and gravely injured that day.
Four suspects are currently in police custody facing murder charges.

SALT LAKE CITY UTAH. STEPHEN ANDERSON, 60
JUNE 29 2007-----A correction officer who had taken an inmate to a routine medical appointment at the
university hospital was shot in the head and killed by the inmate. StephenAnderson, 60 was shot by the suspect
as they were in the hospital waiting for the appointment and the suspect then fled, stoled a car and was later
involved in a police pursuit. Curtis Alliger was later captured and prosecutors now say that they will seek the
death penalty for Alliger who has a heavily tattoed face and was incarcerated on unknown charges.

JULY

DAVID FRAZIER 37   INDIANAPOLIS, IND.
The security officer was found dead at an auto repair shop that he was guarding. Two suspects were arrested in
this case.

DAVID C BUSBY II RAMONA CA.
Busby was an enlisted active duty Navy Petty Officer who was working as a loss prevention agent for K-Mart
when he confronted a shoplifter and was shot and
killed by the suspect. Andrew Nicholas Griffith, 28 has been charged with murder.

NESTOR DE LA ROSA 47 PATERSON NJ
Officer De La Rosa was shot in the head while making a cash drop at a check cashing store. De La Rosa was
also an officer with the local housing authority department.

TROY A. SMALLS 19, BILOXI MS.
The Air Force identified the airman killed by a weapons discharge Tuesday as Airman Troy A. Smalls of the 81st
Security Forces Squadron.

RAYSHAWN SMITH, 22 TUSCALOOSA, AL.
Shot and killed during a confrontation while working a nightclub.

LEON DASH 48, CLEARWATER, FLA.
Killed while working at nightclub.

AUGUST

FRANK FOSTER, 66, MANKATO MN.
On duty with the Minnesota vikings team, Foster died of a heart attack. Foster was a retired police officer who
had worked for the St. Paul MN. Police.

THOMAS C LAZAR, 58, TOLEDO,OH.
A retired Pa. State Trooper who was working at as a security chief at a factory near Toledo, Ohio. A fired
employee attempted to steal a
company vehicle and shot and killed Lazar.

LUIS A. AYALA 57, HOUSTON TX.
The armed robbers shot a security guard and robbed a customer and the bar.
They fled with several thousand dollars.

SEPTEMBER

MICHAEL THOMAS GARRY 52, WESTMINISTER CA.
While working the overnight shift at a construction site, Gary was attacked and
murdered during a possible burglary.

OCTOBER

JOSEPH ALLULLO, 50 PHILADELPHIA, PA.
A retired Philadelphia police officer was assassinated during a robbery while working a
Loomis Armored car guard.

WILLIAM WIDMAIER 65 PHILADELPHIA PA.
A retired Philadelphia police officer, he was gunned down while working as
an armored car guard for Loomis.

SUSAN SCHMIDT, 51 ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.
While working the overnight shift at a car lot, she was attacked and beaten by several suspects who have now
been charged with murder.

FIDEL SANCHEZ, HIALEAH FL
Sanchez was hit and ran down by a fleeing burglary suspect and
later died from severe trauma injuries.

ALFRED MEQUET 71, BATON ROUGE LA.
While on duty at a farmer's market, Marquet was shot and killed during a robbery.

Unidentified guard died at TJ Maxx Distribution Center

NOVEMBER

NEVILLE WEBB, 52    MOUNT VERNON NY

While chasing a couple of Halloween pranksters he was hot three times and succumbed to his injuries.

ABULAZIZ ALBANI     OKLAHOMA CITY OKLA.
While on patrol of an apartment complex, he was shot by a trespasser that he had confronted.

HAROLD D. LONG JR. CHICAGO IL.
During a shoplifting incident at a clothing store, Officer Long was shot while apprehending the thieves.

STEWART EDELMAN 44   SCHERTZ TX.
Was shot and killed during a robbery of an Internet Cafe.

DECEMBER

MICHAEL SMELA 56    OAKLEY CA.
While making his foot patrol of an industrial plant he was struck by a vehicle driven
by the city mayor and died of trauma injuries.

THOMAS COSTELLO 70     TAMARAC FLA.

Was struck by a vehicle who made an illegal u-turn in front of him as he left his security post. Costello was
trapped in his vehicle and succumbed to his traumatic injuries.

VERNE JENKINS 31     SALT LAKE CITY UTAH
While trying to stop a petty theft at the truck stop where he was on duty, he was
shot and killed by the suspect.
